I’m a longtime maker and DIYer who grew up in a working furniture and upholstery shop, where repairing and restoring were part of everyday life.
Over the past decade, I’ve rescued, repaired, and restored dozens of floor and table looms, some dating to the 1920s. I’ve worked with familiar names, obscure makers, discontinued models, and more than a few mystery looms along the way.
Every loom has its own quirks. An older or unfamiliar loom often needs a little investigation, and sometimes the solution to an issue is simpler than it first appears.

Considering a new, used or vintage loom? I can help you evaluate what you're looking at, determine whether it suits the kind of weaving you want to do, and identify potential problems before you bring it home.
Setup & Learning
New-to-you looms aren't always intuitive. I can help with assembly, setup, basic operation, tie-up, warping, and getting acquainted with how your specific loom works.
Troubleshooting & Repair
Sticking shafts, missing pieces, brake problems, worn cords, mysterious hardware—I can help identify what's wrong, what actually needs replacing, and what may simply need adjustment.
Restoration & Older Looms
I have significant experience with older and vintage floor and table looms, including looms no longer in production or with missing documentation.
