Photo of Karri Weaver, a self-portrait taken of her reflection in the a mirror. A wood floor and bare window are visible in the background while the mirror frame borders her portrait in the foreground. She is holding a white phone.

From her first introduction to embroidery and hand stitching in early childhood, Karri has enjoyed a lifelong love of fiber and textile arts.

With a modern eye and whimsical approach, she draws inspiration from nature, folk art, pop culture, the Arts and Crafts movement, and Bauhaus design.

She is captivated by the enduring legacy of outsider artists and art that has historically been classified as women’s work. Her work has earned accolades in both her native Pennsylvania and Texas, where she spent many years honing her craft.

Karri resides in Williamsport, PA, where she offers individual instruction to beginners and folks returning to fiber arts.
